As a knowledgeable and inspiring guide, Putu will lead you through the lush Mayong rice fields, sharing insights about local plants, flowers, and Balinese culture and traditions. The tour includes a visit to his home, where his wife Ria will prepare a delightful meal, offering you a glimpse into traditional Balinese life.

Dolphins

Embark on a memorable dolphin-watching adventure directly from the villa. Set sail early in the morning on a local fishing boat to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Bali Sea. You’ll be picked up right from the beach at Villa Brongbong for an unforgettable experience with dolphins.

Each morning, a school of Spinner dolphins graces the coast of North Bali. Local fishermen are well-acquainted with the dolphins' patterns and can easily guide you to their favorite spots. You may be fortunate enough to see the dolphins perform their acrobatic spins, which give them their name. Even if they don’t, simply drifting among these majestic creatures is a mesmerizing experience.

Diving and snorkelling

Menjangan Island, along with other prime locations, offers exceptional opportunities for diving and snorkeling. Just an hour's drive from the villa, Menjangan is ideal for both experienced divers and snorkelers. With its stunning coral reefs, diverse tropical fish, crystal-clear waters, and calm seas, it provides an incredible underwater paradise. The shallow areas near the beach also make it perfect for children.

While Bali boasts several renowned diving schools, we recommend Arrow Divers for their extensive experience. They will pick you up from the villa and handle all arrangements, including transport, the boat crossing, refreshments, and guidance. A dive master or snorkeling guide will visit the villa beforehand to discuss options. For those new to the sport, a trial lesson in the villa's pool offers an excellent introduction to snorkeling or diving.

Spa and massage

A visit to Bali wouldn’t be complete without indulging in a spa experience. Both villas feature a charming rice barn converted into a luxurious spa retreat.

At Villa Brongbong Pantai, the rice barn is situated right on the beach, allowing you to enjoy massages with ocean views. The spa offers treatments both upstairs and downstairs, including a range of beauty services.

At Villa Brongbong Rimba, the rice barn is nestled within lush garden surroundings. It features two massage beds on the upper level, while beauty treatments can be enjoyed on the balcony or terrace.

Villa Brongbong has partnered with Amy and her team from Amy's Spa @ Home, known for their exceptional skills. They offer a variety of massages, including traditional Balinese, Thai, hot stone, and aromatherapy. Additionally, they provide facial treatments, manicures, pedicures, and nail art services.

Waterfalls

Immerse yourself beneath a waterfall in Munduk, with numerous options just 35 km away. If you're fortunate, you might have the falls all to yourself. Alternatively, explore some of North Bali’s most impressive waterfalls, such as Sekumpul or Git Git near Singaraja. The region also boasts other stunning falls like Aling-Aling and Kroya, where you can even take a thrilling leap into the water from a great height.

Tempels

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan is undoubtedly one of Bali’s most picturesque and photographed locations. This Hindu-Buddhist temple, constructed in the 17th century, is set in the highlands of Bedugul and beautifully situated on small islands within Lake Bratan. As one of the island’s nine directional temples, Pura Ulun Danu is dedicated to Dewi Danu, the goddess of water. The temple hosts numerous ceremonies throughout the year to ensure a steady water supply for Bali’s farmers.

Pura Beji, a 15th-century subak temple, is dedicated to Dewi Sri, the goddess who protects irrigated rice fields. Renowned for its intricate barong architecture and striking pink sandstone carvings, Pura Beji offers a captivating glimpse into Bali’s rich cultural heritage.

Visit Ubud

Ubud, Bali's cultural heart, offers a wealth of experiences for both culture enthusiasts and adventure seekers. Dive into the rich Balinese heritage with its vibrant arts, traditional dance, music, and handcrafts, and savor some of the island’s finest dining options.
